I know giving to charity is a personal decision and there are a lot of competing voices all calling for attention. I focused on Doctors Without Borders years ago after learning how much positive impact they make on people's lives around the world on the most basic need of all, healthcare. Helping this cause is saving lives. It is as simple as that. Donate some of your spending money to save some lives from starvation. From diseases associated with lack of access to clean water. Prevent deaths from lack of access to basic medical care including immunizations. Provide care to pregnant women and birthing centers to prevent deaths from complications.

I believe in this cause very strongly and have been a donor for years.

As a team goal, if I can get your help, Anne and I will match the team donations up to $1000.

We are participating in ‘Be There 1st’, an interactive online campaign to raise money for Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF). As an impartial organization, MSF relies on independent funding to provide emergency aid in more than 60 countries around the world where many people may not otherwise have access to medical care. With your support, we can reach our fundraising goal to benefit the Emergency Relief Fund and help MSF continue to save lives whenever and wherever an emergency occurs. Please be generous!
